MY STORY is about Jesus bringing me back to Him! I grew up around church and understood young about Jesus. I was saved when I was 9, but life was just getting started! My parents divorced when I was 6 or 7, and by the age of 13, I had filled the role as man of the house. I didn’t know when I was 16 that Jesus had BIG changes in store for my life! School was a joke to me, so I spent most of my time running the streets with friends. Parties, fights, drugs, vandalism, drinking, and being a tuff guy is what my life consisted of then. I had managed not to get arrested or killed long enough for my mom and grandma to talk me into going to camp with the youth group at church… not an easy task for them! I spotted a cute blonde girl at the camp meeting and told my buddy, “I’ve gotta talk to that girl!” Week of camp was awesome! Reconnected with God, met the pretty blonde girl, and made some new friends! As soon as I got home, the devil wanted me back… drugs in my closet was the first thing on my mind. My older brother saw what was going on and asked me, “See how fast Satan can work on you?” Like a ton of bricks!… i flushed what I had right then! July 21, 2011 will be 10 years clean for me! I wound up marrying that pretty blonde girl! We now have a beautiful daughter and another on the way! We got involved working with the youth at the church and other ministries. We have seen JESUS do amazing things in peoples lives, including ours! JESUS changed me…
